Quickly the Wilde Sprite dashed across the cold floor of Wolfstag Forest. She glanced over her shoulder and gasped in dismay as she saw the Swamp Henkie closing in on her. Panting she hid in the dense green bushes and waited….. Wilde Sprites are captured Treepixies. Slowly their number grows as the evil Queen adds to her “Collection”. The Queen hires the Swamp Henkies to hunt down and kidnap fairies from Ellenora Island. The evil Queen uses the captured fairies as slaves and steals their ability to fly. Some fairies have escaped and bear the mark of their capture ~ black tattoos that have spells woven into the dark ink. Because of this, the Captured Treepixies can never leave Aronelle Island and have renamed themselves the “Wilde Sprites”. No longer interested in pretty treasures, they spend their time weaving plants and grasses into hats ~ to better hide themselves from the Swamp Henkies.
